Overview

Shamanism is the sacred art of spiritual relationship, connection, and healing. By utilizing non-ordinary states of consciousness, we can enter into visionary experiences to build relationships with individual spirit helpers, teachers, and ourselves. Shamanism is not a religion! Rather, it is a modality for deeper connection and healing to mind, body, and soul.

Shamanism is the oldest method of psycho-spiritual and body healing, dating back at least 40,000 years. Examples of various forms of shamanism can be found on six continents and is still practiced today. Shamanism also influences many newer western models of therapy, energy-work, and soul-exploration practices.

In this 2-day experiential course participants will be trained in the fundamentals of shamanism including:

• Introduction to cross-cultural shamanism

• Alignment vs cultural appropriation

• The “shamanic journey” via the drum

• Connection with spirit allies and teachers

• Navigating the sacred realms of the “otherworld”

• Fundamentals of healing others with retrieval
